Up early set alarm 5.30 went back to sleep.

Coffee and French stick salad and ham. Made a packed lunch.

Long day and sad day lost or had stolen one of my go Pro session cameras,

Early start left camp site by 8 am, cleaned as requested, well other riders may come this way.

The air was cool almost crisp and a refreshing change from blistering heat.
Soon changed and by 9 am it was already 32 degrees.

and the sat nav took me around … set to avoid tolls and motorways I went through lots of small village centres.

Spanish barren scenery - windmills reached down to turn on go pro but it was gone…;(

Coffee in St Girons old 50 cc moped caught my eye. Went to the less busy cafe and had awesome service.

Back On track awesome small roads wish I had taken some images, some times it’s better to have memories without the pressure or need to constantly blog post about it and be judged by images and text. To live in the moment…

I joined the now familiar dotted blue line on the sat nav that told me I’ve been this way before! Maybe once or twice …

St Girons passing through (ouch sorry JP …) yes passed close again but I’m on a mission for more markets Oysters and white wine! and swimming pool 🏊‍️

3 pm saw lack of steam (is it getting earlier ) saw Mane coming up…nice checked in again 10.8 Euro nice pool which was open this time, friendly English speaking manager, walking distance to supermarket and shady camp site, freezer to put one’s beers in / simply what more could one wish for.
