Dubai has fantastic public transport. We used the metro to travel to the famous Dubai mall (1200 shops)which is attached to the Burj Kalifa, the tallest building in the world. Needless to say the shopping was unique. But I really enjoyed the view from the 125th floor of the Burj Kalifa. The elevator only took 60 seconds to get there. We calculated that was 75mph!
We stayed at the mall until late and had dinner at a place called the Eataly. YUM!
On our return to the hotel at 9.00 pm we had to walk a few hundred metres but we experienced the coolest part of the day at 37C!
