We decided to go back to Kuranda today after we had such a good time last week. Our favourite attraction of course was Bird World so we thought we would do it all again!

So many birds and in a small area. We again had heaps of fun. This time we managed to get the Macaw to jump on our arm and take our food. The Macaw is big and looks scary but it is surprisingly gentle, even still its claws are sharp when it holds onto your arm. We spent ages in the exhibit and we soon worked out that the smaller birds are the naughty ones. So many people loose the top button on their baseball caps thanks to the birds. There was one bird that landed on dad. He was friendly at first and sat on Dad's shoulder for ages. Suddenly it tried to bite Dad's ear, Mum tried scaring it off but it sat there, tried to bite Mum and then said to Mum "ouch". We thought that if the bird knew to say "ouch" it must have heard it enough times to repeat it. Dad thought this was a bad sign. Anyway soon it flew away.

Once we finished at Bird World we had some food and headed back to the caravan park to enjoy some of the activities there! This caravan park is amazing and we all agree it is the best one we have stayed in anywhere. We spent time on the bikes, played with the electronic game system, went swimming, played outdoor chess and snuck into the adults spa. We finished the night with a movie on the big open air screen while eating dinner.

We had an awesome day.

Tomorrow we head to the reef!
