This morning we started really really early. Mum was the alarm clock and threatened us if we did not get up.

At the airport we went straight to the QANTAS Club. Lucky Dad has a lifetime Gold membership so we could sponge off him and get a great breakfast.

The flight was pretty quick but scary as we had severe air turbulence which dad later explained was wind shear. Coming in to land we noticed light green water and we also noticed lots of green bushland.

After landing we went straight to pick up our campervan. When we saw our camper the first thing we did was name it, this is a tradition that we have. We normally use the number plate to come up with a name. Dad and Mum were a bit worried when they realised the number plate was 1DN 5EX. Yep … you can probably see why they were worried!

Olivier named the campervan Master Roshi, because his name is similar to our campervan company "Maui" and this character in Dragon Ball Z is shaddy and a pervert. [Dad's comment - I need to review this whole Dragon Ball Z thing].

After picking up the Campervan we did some shopping and Olivier even did a video tour of our camper .. MTV style. We pushed on and drove 350kms to our first park. It took a long time to get there because of roadworks.

So now we are chilling out, writing this blog and watching a movie.
