Didier Moutia's Travels
Well the day has arrived ... The Tour de France finish in Paris on the Champs Elysee.
Like Alpe d'Huez, the place is crazy. People everywhere.
We find ourselves a great but precarious spot we call the "Edge of Glory". Check out what was behind us if we stepped back a bit too far!
Standing on the tunnel wall was great, we saw pretty much everything. Even though it was such a big event it was surprising how around the Arc de Triomphe there was still lots of room. The crowd was in many places only three or four deep.
The caravan as always led the festivities.
This year the riders raced 10 times around the Champs Elysee. What an awesome spectacular.
