Had such a relaxing day today while cruising back to Porto. We made it through all of the locks in record time and were in Porto by 1:30. We did a quick tour of the city and just walked all over the place. The river area is very alive with all sorts of cafes, shops and outdoor entertainers. We sat and watched some young dancers and
musicians on one of the main plazas.
We walked back to the ship browsing the flea markets as we went. Lots of cork, linens, handmade jewellery and tons of the Portuguese roosters. It was very hot and humid so by the time we were back to the ship we were ready for a beer and salty chips.
The dinners have been good on the ship and all of the wine served was from the region. They were all quite good.
