We eventually got to mebourne glad of the break from beaches and rainforests, they got quite similar. We had a great time with Tammy and everyone we went into the city, walked on the beach in st. kilda and went to Luke's 6th birthday party. It was great fun, monica and i weren't even tired of being used as a climbing frame!! it was great that we stayed with Tammy and Ian, we real appreciated it, they were great hosts!! Melbourne's a great city with a great art gallery, some really interesting aboriginal influenced art, a cut above the tourist rubbish we'd seen so much of! But Melbourne was our last stop in Australia and after many weeks of australian tourist tat ie koala road signs, furry kangaroos and painted boomerangs we have left that continent behind and headed to christchurch in newzealand!! love rach
