We have just got to Cairns which is really scary as that means we've nearly finished australia! We were planning to go up to port douglas today, but sadly we missed our greyhoung bus was late so we can't go till 5 pm and we've been in Cairns since 13 30! It's annoying but c'est la vie. The other thing is that its really expensive to get up there, very irratating. Hope its worth it. We've just spent ages in Mission Beach, this is actually a bit like the beach there! We spent yesterday going sea kayaking across to Dunk island. At Dunk island which, was about 5km away from the shore, we had tired arms, we did a rainforest walk and saw an echidna in the wild!! It was like a hedgehog but spineier and it laid eggs, the only other mammal to except the duck billed platapus. Mind by the end of the day Monica and I were exhausted, kayaking is hard work!
