And here we are in San Francisco! A bit of a chang in temperature, strangely enough... We have a cool view over the Bay Bridge, looks a lot like the golden gate bridge (i think) though we will go and check that one out tomorrow. Celebratory birthday dinner at a michelin star restaurant called One Market, where we had the Chef's taster menu of six (reduced size) courses. Well that was a long flight... And we've crossed international date line so we've started 10 March for the second time. Confusing! Currently in LA, having gone through the three US customs/ immigration checks and sitting in a lounge waiting for American Airlines to take us to San Fransisco! Passed two Starbucks already in the space of a few metres in the departure hall!!

Yes we are still in Fiji, and yes we are definitely still relaxing.... Sun, sea and beach (oh and food of course) - saw 'Castaway' island today (where scenes were shot for that film, you know...) It's tempting to just stay behind out here, forget we have planes to catch etc. ;-) Among the feature songs for the island are "Welcome to the hotel Matamanoa..." on the theme of Hotel California. Definitely a place to go back to, and Rae was an awesome divin...

A slight delay since our last update - but here we are in Fiji, on the little island of Matamanoa. Picture perfect location, white sand and hot sea - what more can we ask for?! Little internet access, hence there will be few updates from here, but then again we plan on spending most of our time relaxing so the updates would otherwise be pretty short! More detail will follow...

First flight of the day completed - now 'in transit' in Auckland. Had to find a new book again. In the Fjordlands was actually reading the Famous Five mystery stories. Now boarding for Fiji, hopefully that will be the location of our next update!!!
