The heat is picking up and the van is struggling big time, were managing two to three hours at 60km p/hr. Then a 2 hour wait for the van to get the temperature down. It's not too bad tho, every town you stop in. Even tho they can be up to 700 km apart, they do have some characters. I won't forget one town that looked like something out of the hills have eyes, empty houses shut down stations and shops. By the look of it it used to be an old mining town. Now tho, all it was achieving was confirming my all time fear of having my anal virginity taken from me while being tortured. Along the root tho we see kangaroos, bushes, sand, a lot of happy passer byes, more dead kangaroos, more sand, more bush, me having a fight with a can (be in the videos section) and of course my favourite part, a bit of space station that crashed thirty years ago. Now of course it looks like a cheap replica metal they found, but still we pretend its the real thing and have a picture none the less. As I mentioned in the last blog we had no phone signal, were now in day four of the trip and still that hasn't changed. Now other than a slight boredom you wouldn't think much of it I suppose. Wrong! Hysterical parents who we forgot to tell we wouldn't get no phone signal to contact were now on our brains. Especially with the small matter of Xmas being two days away. So with the old beauty still struggling to cover any decent distance whatsoever I take it upon myself to do the night shift and get us to Adelaide. A couple nights later, a few cans of monster and a load of giggles later and were in Adelaide. Just in time for Xmas eve.
