Leeanyer Recreation Park has to be the most fun you can have for free in Darwin .Limited only by the number of times you are prepared to climb the sixty-odd steps, you have a choice of three water slides.The smaller yellow slide is faster than the larger blue slide, but the most screams come from within the red slide.To ride the red slide you need a partner and one of the specially provided double-seater air mats.After watching every turn as you slide through the blue and yellow tunnels it is, for some, terrifying to find complete darkness inside the red tunnel.Beside the waterslides there is a separate water park atop which sits a bucket that would be close to two metres tall.Water flows into the bucket for about 2 ½ minutes until it fills, topples and dumps the whole lot over all those below.All this for free!
