Melanie's summer sabbatical
Another day , another cookery class! Today it was chinese cooking with us making chicken and prawn wontons, savoury crabmeat in lettuce, bubar cha cha, and fried noodles. I really enjoyed all the savoury dishes but the bubar cha cha was strange to say the least. Take steamed yam and sweet potato, add sago and cha cha (brighly coloured small pasta) and then cook in coconut milk. Sounds strange, tastes strange and won'ty be serving that back in Birmingham!!
Pesky mosquitos have attacked me a few times even though the hotel fumigate the place both morning and evening....help to make me stand out as a tourist!!
Off on my elephant and jungle adventure tomorrow for 3 days...very excited!!
