Hello again!! Finally found a VERY fast net connection so have been making the most of it and finally have most of my photos up for you all to look at :)

So we spent most of the 19th getting from the highlands 4 hours south down to Pulau Pangkor, our first island!!! .... very exciting if not a bit hot and sticky :os

We anticipated getting the 9am bus from the highlands, so got up early and headed down to the bus stop, only to find out that there wasnt a bus untill 11am!!! Fantastic! we had already checked out and lugged our bags down the hill so there was noway we were going to try and head back up to base.

We finally arrived on the island at about 4.30pm, finding sumwhere to stay was a bit of a mission but after bumping into Neil (a guy we met at the hostel in the highlands) we managed to get a room in the same resort as him (in the room next door again).

Pulau Pangkor seemed to be a very small island but to be honest we didnt really explore just hung out on the beach, ate sum weird - not so nice, food and i spent quite a lot of time watching Kat and Coop play with the sand..... Building sand extravigant castles and very big holes!! We managed to bury coop on the second day :) he only had himself to blame if hes going to dig life sized holes its only right that we test it out propperly and make sure he fits :) HAHAHA !! getting him out was more fun than burying him :)

After 2 days of sunning ourselfs and me having very burnt feet we decided (Neil in tow) to head on up to Pulau Penang for a bit of culture and to meet up with one of Kats dads old friends who is still working there :) there rumours that hes even going to feed us!!!! Yay!
