Adventures of a Global Wanderer
My connection at San Francisco was four hours so I had time to explore. I noticed an airport museum so headed over but its closed Saturdays!!! I got to see the window displays which were interesting. Airport security also wasnt as bad as I imagined it might be in the US. Most of the staff appeared to be asian american so I guess they are more understanding towards racial profiling and being a minority in the US. This time I had an Air Canada flight so modern aircraft with personal tvs. However you have to purchase food on domestic north american flights. This was my first time flying over the western US. I never realized how barren the country was. Most of it was desert and barren moutains similar to when I flew over western China. The topography didnt turn green until we came close to the great lakes. There were also strange circle farms that I saw all over the western desert so no idea what those were . I was sitting with an older korean couple so able to help translate their customs form for them to fill in. The flight was full of rich brats that had gone to New Zealand for 12 weeks to get a credit in High School Sciences!
