Sydney Part Two...

This time we weren't so lucky with the bus journey! We had a smaller coach (with a grumpy driver) and NO LEG ROOM!!! The bus was also full and very noisy and we hardly got any sleep all night. Therefore when we arrived back in Sydney we had 'bus-lag'!! This time we also had to wait 3 hours for our room to become free and so Debs slept on the sofa (again, as she still wasn't well!!) whilst I enjoyed watching the whole of Liverpool vs. AC Milan and AS Roma vs. Real Madrid on ESPN Sports!! Once we finally checked in we went straight to bed, not waking till late afternoon. After a quick trip to the supermarket for supplies it was back to bed!

The next day i awoke...feeling like crap! I had a roaring temperature, splitting headache and could hardly swallow (i blame Deb's as she was finally feeling better!!). The rest of that day was spent in bed, whilst Deb's ran around buying soup and lemsip!

Three days later...and i finally managed to get out of bed (much to Deb's delight as she had had to spend the last 3 days stuck in the hostel room watching me sleep!)! A short trip to the doctors diagnosed my 'flu' as pneumonia, and armed with a cocktail of pills it was back to bed to rest! The doctor wasn't too keen on me flying but as long as i didn't get any worse he'd allow it. On our last afternoon in Australia we managed to get over to Oakley to visit Lesley and Tony (Mum's school friends) where we were treated to a bbq and a very potent alcoholic beverage (or Deb's was anyway!). Then it was back to bed to rest before flying to New Zealand the following day!
