Wow. We have hit shorts and T’shirt weather with a balmy 24 degree max today. Well it feels balmy after the cold weather in Bendigo last week!

Today we travelled from Dubbo to Port Stephens, just out of Newcastle. It felt like a long trip. Google told us it would take about 4 hours but it took every bit of 6 hours. 2 boys grumpy in the back and 1 boy grumpy in the front! Dead kangaroo count 156. Dead wombat count 28.

Highlight of the day was catching up with Ben and Karla tonight for dinner. We haven’t seen them since their wedding in October.

Staying in Soldiers Point for the night and then off to South West Rocks tomorrow.
