01.07.05 Spent the morning in Phi Phi relaxing and trying to avoid the sun too much cos of my burnt back!! But it was a nice day. Got to the pier way early, then got the boat across to Krabi. Met some people on the boat (I hadn't got any idea where to stay!) so the 4 of us got a taxi into town to stay at accom recommended by one of them. Not bad! Not anywhere near as nice as Phi Phi, but over 7 times cheaper!! We went to the night market for a look around and a bite to eat. 02.07.05 Mel, Mark and I decided to head for Rayleigh beach today. We had to get a 'long boat' across. It was stunning! We spent the day exploring the beach and the awesome caves - and came face-to-face with a whole bunch of monkeys! One even took a nut from my hand! In the evening, the guy from our accom. cooked us fresh fish and tom yum soup :)
