20.06.05 Arrived in Ko Phan Ngan today after what seemed forever travelling! It's gorgeous though. I was petrified on the jeep ride to the accommodation as some of the roads are really bad! But the accom is right on the beach and really nice and clean :) Met up with Han's mate Angela and went for a bite to eat in the evening after I'd sat on the beach to watch the sunset :) 21.06.05 Went into 'Tong Sala' - the main town today to have a look around the shops. Went back to the apartment when it started to rain and had a chilled afternoon. In the evening, we got ready for the FULL MOON PARTY! The taxi took nearly an hour to get there, but it was such an awesome place! A massive beach lined with about 10-15 bars, all playing different music, with dayglow paint tatoos on offer and stalls selling food and buckets of drinks! And yes, I had a bucket of joy! But made it last all night. Had a wicked time jumping around in the sand to Green Day and Bon Jovi, Mousse T! Lol. Finally made it back around 7am! 22.06.05 Woke up late (as you'd expect!) but felt fine! Spent the whole day sunbathing actually - ahhh, it's a hard life! Ventured into the sea, but the sand is littered with sea cucumbers and they're really gross! So didn't stay in the water long!! 23.06.05 Today was a bit overcast, but we'd planned to go to town anyway. So, had a look around the shops and booked our tickets for the rest of our travel around Thailand. Had lunch at a nice place by Angela's accom. 24.06.05 Up at 8.30am today for a heavy day of travelling! TAXI to the town (0.5h) BOAT to Surat Thani (4h) BUS to Bangkok (10h) PLANE to Chiang Mai (1h, after a 3h wait at the airport!) Phew!!
