20.06.05 Arrived in Ko Phan Ngan today after what seemed forever travelling! It's gorgeous though. I was petrified on the jeep ride to the accommodation as some of the roads are really bad! 19.06.05 Arrived in Thailand today - physically walked across the border! It was soooo hot! Had to get a train for 10 hours up to Surat Thani, which is the jumping off point for Ko Pha Ngan. It was night time and proper skanky! Managed to see rats and cockroaches... hotel was nice though!

13.06.05 Heather left to go back to the UK today - waved her off in the taxi, then sorted out my own stuff. Had to check out of my room, so thought I'd head to Little India to have a look before my bus at 3pm... Heat and heavy bags don't mix too well! But it was good having a look around.
