On our last day of vacation, Javier, Jav and Brady got in an early game of golfing on the beautiful course. We survived the 106 degree weather thanks to the pool, mist and air conditioning. Luckily, none of us burned. We drove back to Los Angeles to catch our flights. After some swimming, bowling and spa time, we headed to Palm Springs Aerial Tramway. The Tram is hooked to a thick cable which runs from the bottom of the mountain to the top of the mountain. Breathtaking view! After photos and drinks, we headed down on the Tram and went to dinner at Sammy G's in downtown Palm Springs.

Welcome to the mountains, Joshua Tree National Park! The sun was setting when Jesse, Matt and Debbie arrived. The rental car was about to run out of gas, thankfully, we made it to the gas station before heading back to the resort.

As we drove from Hollywood to Palm Springs, we saw many solar windmills. We arrived in Palm Springs at about 4:00 p.m. and the temperature was 106 degrees, water anyone? We unloaded the cars and headed to the pool! Laura was afraid she was going to melt. We learned quickly to always wear flip flops and apply sun screen regularly. We enjoyed all the amenities the Omni Rancho Las Palmas offered: comfortable rooms, pool, lazy river, water slide, spa and meals....

After driving down Rodeo Drive and passing the Beverly Hills sign, we arrived on Hollywood Blvd. We saw many recognizable stars: Michael Jackson, Michael J. Fox, Alan Jackson and the list goes on and on! We saw the Chinese Theatre and celebrities names and shoe prints in cement squares - this street has a crazy vibe!
