As we drove from Hollywood to Palm Springs, we saw many solar windmills. We arrived in Palm Springs at about 4:00 p.m. and the temperature was 106 degrees, water anyone? We unloaded the cars and headed to the pool! Laura was afraid she was going to melt. We learned quickly to always wear flip flops and apply sun screen regularly.

We enjoyed all the amenities the Omni Rancho Las Palmas offered: comfortable rooms, pool, lazy river, water slide, spa and meals.
