Had a few cracking days in Stellenbosch and the surrounding wine regions including Franshoek with wine and cheese tours. Stayed in the Stumble Inn backpackers and met a bunch of great travellers. We have had 11 days of sunshine and the temperature is up in the mid twenties. Bizarrely, Haden Kerr from Deira School has randomly booked into our hotel.
Have traveled in el-cheapo taxis and trains without any problems. It's really not as bad as many people make out.
5 days until we embark on the big truck for 42 days! Can't wait!
