Well Monday started off as a pretty dismal day with rain part of the way from San Diego to Phoenix. Spent most of the day travelling so not much to report and no photos. By the time we arrived in Phoenix, the temperature had hit a pleasant 81 degrees. On Tuesday morning we visited Papago Park where we took photos of the city through the hole and then spent a very pleasant couple of hours at the Desert Botanical Gardens (photos to come soon!!). Downtown Phoenix wasn't so impressive so we set off on our travels again to visit Coyla and Byron (and their gorgeous dogs Jack and Star) who we met on a cruise last year.

The views from the house are amazing and this morning we took the dogs on a very pleasant walk around the local area. I am typing this as everyone else is taking a siesta before we go out to dinner tonight. More walking tomorrow and I will try and upload some more photos (although there are a lot of them!!)
