Hey Deanna! I'm so glad that you are having a good time there. I absolutely LOVE Melbourne. Was that Young and Jackson's pub in one of your pics? If so, I spent many a drunken night in there drinking Bulmer's(sp?) cider. YUM! Also, not sure if you will be switching hostels again but the most amazing one I saw (and I saw FAR too many) in Melbourne was called Urban Central - it's at 334 City Road (near the Crown Casino). I stayed there as well and it was really great! The bar downstairs is fun if you don't end up staying there so you should at least check that out. Have you had any major culture shocks yet? You will LOVE GORoad and Tasmania. I didn't get to do Taz but apparently it's gorgeous! The ferry ride there is supposed to be cool too - however I'm sure a cheap flight will be a lot quicker and equally fun. haha... Anyway, glad to hear you are having a great time and I look forward to seeing more of your memories on here. xo Your OH SO JEALOUS friend Carmen. haha

Here I am, at work.. you know. that thing you don't have to do. Well, if you count laying on beaches and blaying with kangaroos work!! But I gotta work as much as I can so I can save up some money to come visit you!!

Hey I was reading your blog, I would HIGHLY recommend going to a hardware store and buying a few pairs of those cheap earplugs. If you are trying to sleep in hostels they are a MUST!!!! Nothing worse than being kept up all night with the impossible to avoid sounds of the hostel.

Hello Mini Me

Well it all looks wonderful. I really like all the winter jackets and the mounds of snow everywhere. I think it is time for you to get down to working or at least pretend that you are working so the rest of us don't feel so bummed. Keep on having fun and keep us posted on the toilet issue.
