Unfortunately I am quite sure that the rest of my trip will be downhill. The good thing is that today's peak was really high!
After my $1.50 breakfast, we started the climb up to the KPP "viewpoint". It was about a 25 minute hike in 35 degree heat, and by the end I was drenched in sweat, but it was definitely worth it! It gave us an amazing view of KPP don's twin bays, and KPP Ley in the distance. Incredible.
Yesterday while on our long tail boat tour, we noticed a big yellow boat called the "Original KPP Sunset Tour" that looked really fun. So instead of just hanging out on the beach today, we decided to head out on the yellow boat to see the islands again. The trip made some of the same stops, but I don't think you could ever get bored of going to these places. At Pileh Bay (the shallow clear blue long windy lagoon amongst the cliffs) we went kayaking on ocean kayaks. So relaxing and all around amazing. The best part though was that Mike is a little nervous about swimming in the ocean without a life-jacket... So when we got to the middle part of the lagoon, we told him to jump off and have a swim, which he bravely did. We then began to paddle the kayak away... The look of terror on his face is indescribable and I wish I had my camera. We went back 2 minutes later to pick him up!
Just before sunset we stopped to do some more snorkelling at the home of some sea turtles. Luckily we saw at least 10 huge turtles. Amazing how they move around so slowly and calmly. Right near the spot we were was a cave which our tour guide said you could swim for 50M in, and then another 50 on land... BUT there are snakes in there, and if they bite you you have 2 hours to live!! So I didn't venture in there!
Also worth mentioning... I was speaking to Daniel over BBM today and he said that the places I have been going aren't very appropriate... Bangkok, Krabi, Phi Phi, Phuket. Didn't get it at first, but killed me!
Tonight we had dinner with two girls who we met on the boat - One from Norway and one from Spain. They didn't know each other before, but met in India. They were there for 6 months wandering! Some other people they met were also there - one from NZ, one from Argentina, one from Italy and one from Chile. Pretty interesting meal. Highlight of the night was Mike's friend asking where one guy lived, who said Argentina - She replied by saying oh I've never been to Europe.
Tomorrow we take the ferry to Phuket and then fly to HK

PS. We got to jump off the second deck of the boat (maybe 15 feet) into the water a bunch of times (when ever we went in the water) so much fun.
