Sunshine Coast Part 3 We arrived in Noosa on Friday 6th March at lunchtime and luckily the YHA hostel was right opposite the bus station! Halse Lodge was up a steeeep hill and looked really pretty, with much of it still remaining in its 1880’s timber frame. Sunshine Coast Part 2 Tuesday 3rd March we caught the local bus from outside Dicky’s Holiday Park to Maroochydore, a bigger town (or city) 20 miles up the coastline! We arrived at our Caravan Park in Cotton Tree which is another great camping site. Its double the size of Dicky’s, however their facilities are not so good. Sunshine Coast Part 1 We left Brisbane on Saturday 28th Feb for the Sunshine Coast....our camping adventure! First stop was Caloundra (pronounced Calandra!) We caught the local bus to Dicky’s Beach where we had booked a few nights for our tent! The holiday park was perfect...better facilities than lots of hostels!!! A pool, kitchen/bbq area with a fridge, a tv/games room and even free wifi! And of course the added bonus was we were steps away from the beach......
