Spent 3 days in Santa Monica by the beach boosting the tan and then over to Palm Springs before going back to Hollywood. The forecast is very heavy rain for the next week so decided to change my flight to go home few days earlier as I really feel I have done everything I want to do here. Went to universal studios, got into The Price is right as an audience member! very interesting!! Paul Getty museum and walked the Miracle Mile. Hollywood is completely manic because of the Oscars and it is impossible to get accomodation, another reason for heading out. I thought at first I would watch everyone arriving at the Oscars so I could take loads of photos but they have completely closed the Kodak Theatre area so it is impossible to get anywhere close to see anything. Anyone that forms part of the crowd are by invitation only so I've got no chance. One really good thing is that I am ready to go home. I appreciate England so much more than I did before I left. The whole trip has left me feeling quite different to how I was. Definately not stressed ( hope I never get like that again!) certainly more appreciative of everything and everyone in my life, didn't realise how much I would miss you all and grateful, to you all, for being with me on my travels. I can't believe how quick the time has gone but it has and the next time I contact you will be from England. Thanks everyone - I've had a really great time. Talk to you soon - Loads of love Dawnxxxx
