We decided that we would skip Santa Catalina. David's shoulder is still not up to surfing and the comments about single day dive trips are quite mixed (and expensive too). We would just head for Panama City and see how far we got...

We skipped breakfast so we could take a water taxi to Almirante that would connect with a bus to David. We ended up being in luck because the water taxi arrived early and bus seemed to be late because we made it. It was a proper coach instead of the little coaster too. A guy even came on the bus selling empanadas for 50 cents each, so that was our breakfast sorted.

It was a very comfortable ride back to David and we decided to stay another night there instead of trying to get to Santiago late in the evening without knowing if there was accommodation or not.

We stayed again at Residencial Cervantes and had pizza at the same place as we did before. And just to make it more like the previous visit, we went back to the same supermarket to buy beer and wine - easy!!
