It had been steadily getting warmer over the last few days and when we woke this morning it was up to -3c. That might still seem pretty cold to someone in the UK or New Zealand, but you have to bear in mind that it was -30c only just a few days ago, so for us it was really warm. The temperature had risen again throughout the night and was now up to -9c. And with warmer temperature comes the snow too. It looked like it snowed throughout night and it was still snowing, the car was barely visible under the blanket of snow. With most people leaving the cabin yesterday, we had the bedroom which isolates you from the dormlike noise. Without hearing any snores or people shifting in their sleep, we slept really well and were surprised that we hadn't woken once during the night. We were just going to have a relaxing day.
