Our Year of Adventure
We enjoyed a nice, leisurely breakfast on the rooftop terrace at Casa D'Mer. It was a little overcast but still very warm. Over breakfast we decided that, despite the weather, we would take a walk round to Playa Grande.
Then the rain started, not that heavy but enough to keep us under cover. We booked our tickets for the bus to Medellin tomorrow night but we haven't got email confirmation of our tickets - the payment went through ok!! After booking some accommodation in Medellin, it was lounging in a hammock with our books.
By mid afternoon the rain still hadn't eased off so we braved the elements (the temperature dropped to 29c) and went to find some lunch. La Creperia had been recommended and with a couple of screens showing the football, it seemed a good option. David had chicken and prawns in marinera sauce wrapped in a crepe while Maria had a basic tomato and cheese crepe. The food was good but the football was interupted a couple of times by power outages. We did manage to see the end of the game though.
Most bizarrely in Taganga, there are drug dealers on the street that are openly looking to trade despite police officers being in close proximity.
