Trains on time through the floods of the home counties and down to Gatwick for a night at the airport. No not a new film with Ben Stiller.

Anyway up early and in to the airport for the obligatory worry whilst you get your email ticket processed and get your bags whisked off to hopefully meet with you 8000 miles later.

Popped in for a coffee which tasted good - we heard Vietnam is the world's second largest coffee producer so should be in for a treat.

The coffee tastes all the better as it coincides with the gate number coming up on time. We fly at 12.00 and shuffle in to our seats and are ready to go. It's so impressive, flights are rarely on time... the captain announces a 45 min delay uh oh.. anyway we leave 2 hrs late and have a few beers, watch a film and then a few more beers finally we drop off.

Several hours later we awake to captain preparing for landing. It's now about 6.00am in Saigon so it truly is a

GOOD MORNING VIETNAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! moment.
