Hello all.

So the blog littered with spelling and grammatical errors, encompassing stories of untold horror and humour, riddled with patronising remarks and drunken antics is back! (How much trouble can I get into this time hey?)

This time however (Mr Bland) I will try my hardest with my spelling, but that is all I can promise!

Megan and I head off on our travels in just over a week - and in true "Dave is leaving the country" style his friends all wanted to get together to celebrate. Take that as you will...

We decided to head up to the Lake District to see my Aunt and Uncle in Windermere, and honestly I couldn't have wished for a better weekend. Although slightly gloomy for the first few days, half the group conquered one of the great fells whilst the others - us included headed to the pub! Why you ask did we abstain from the walk - did you not hear my remark about THE PUB! Tex-Mex Sandwich YUMMY!. We were also lucky enough to have a specialist tour guide also in Grasmere, showing us all the sites - Thanks Lee.

The weekend included much eating, driving and drinking (not in that order) and we all enjoyed the delights of the Steamers at Ullswater and some the picturesque banks of Coniston Lake. The B&B was genuinely the best in the Lake District (the breakfast is superb, great local knowledge and extremely homely) named Holly-Wood Guest House.

We will miss the UK, as you do not appreciate it until you get to go to somewhere like the Lake District with the ones closest to you. But I sense a great deal of adventure heading our way. I will keep this as up-to-date as possible, feel free to write on the wall. We will miss you!
