Last stop before Berlin. Thought we would have a look at Leipzig, one of those classic cities which you always hear about. Hotel we had booked turned out to be brilliant, location wise and comfort wise. Right opposite the train station, right on the edge of the city. Left Frankfurt a couple of days ago to travel further north to Hannover. A beautiful city. Full of medieval charm, mixed with a touch of modernism. Lots of xmas markets ( this is still Germany after all), buskers on every corner (beggars as well), but no hand bag or watch salesmen.
