05/12/2012 - We left Rome this morning and headed south for Sorrento, just past Napoli. Finally made it to Istanbul, albeit 4 hours late. Hopefully the airport pickup we had arranged is still waiting for us. After we parted with 90euros (about $112) for entry visas, we made it to passport control (along with a few hundred others). Surprisingly the process was fairly quick and efficient. Leaving Abu Dhabi today bound for Istanbul. Well, almost anyway. Got to the airport in plenty of time to check in, have some breakfast, and browse the duty free shops, only to be told that our flight had been delayed by 4 hours.
