After an inspiring afternoon at Rosslyn Chapel, we headed out to the Scottish Cabaret and show. All drinks were included tonight so everyone made a good effort at pushing the best advantage of this. With a four course meal, including my first serving of Haggis, the evening started well. I loved the haggis, David didn't share this appreciation and left just over ½ on his plate. I have to say im pleasantly surprised with Edinburgh. The buildings are all big and old and touch side to side. With the castle looming over the city and sitting high on a hill the whole place just feels exciting. We weaved our way thru the city with our local tour guide pointing out all the sights until we arrived at the Castle gates where our guide gave us the quick once over and we were then free for an hour to wander around by ourselves. What an amaz...

For once the rain had worked in our favour. Due to all the bad weather the "OPEN" golf tournament at St Andrews had to roll into an extra day... and that was the day that we were calling in there. The driver didnt really think we would be able to get in, he was pretty convinced our coach would be turned around... but i think because we were arriving around midday, and the "top" players werent playing the 18th untill around 3pm, we got in ahead of the group...

Driving out of Aviemore heading towards St Andrews, on the last day of the "Open" tournament, I realised that I had missed some highlights of our trip towards Isle of Skye.
