So we've arrived at Sam's reletives and received a very warm welcome. We would have got here sooner if it wasn't for Sam's sense of direction!! Firstly we camped out about 45 min from Peter's house, which we then took 2hrs to get there as we headed straight past it, over the Auckland harbour bridge and completely in the opposite direction. Thankfully everything resolved itself and we arrived after a scenic sightseeing tour of Auckland city centre. We spent Saturday sorting the car out and desguising it to a respectable and sellable condition. So donning our Salemans hats Sam and myself headed to the city centre to harass, blackmail or beg people to buy the car. After several hrs of going up to unsuspecting travellers and chatting what can only be described as salesman bullsh*t we "convinced" (is that the right word) a innocent young Welsh lad to part with his hard earned cash and take the pile of junk off our hands. With Chitty gone we felt empty and were forced to catch the bus home but memories of chitty were soon forgotten due to a nice meal that had been prepared for us by Peter's parents and a productive day came to an end. 1 day left in NZ which will probably involve all the boring closing bank accounts etc-no big piss ups because I don't think Peter would be too happy with us crawling in just before he gets up to go to work at 6am! Next stop Melbourne seeya there xxxx
