Well its been a while but we thought we might aswell update the blog again! so much has happened since last time so its hard to start! The main highlight over the last 2 weeks has been hiring a campervan! us 2 jordan, joel and warren decided to hire 2 campervans for 5 days and do the Great Ocean Road! 5days and 4 nights coasting from town to town sleeping under the stars drinkin beer and sight seeing!

Day 1: We picked up the camper van, the van itself was pretty sweet, microvave, fridge, sink, 2 doublebeds! me and jordan shared as we let dave have a double to himself as he was doin all the driving! it was me dave and jordan in the 3 man van and wazza and joel in the 2 man! As i dont like driving and daveo loves it we decided dave was gonna do all the driving!First mission was gettin fuel, beer and food for the trip! second mission was actually gettin out of melbourne! the first stop of the day was some beach i forget the name now! anyway we parked around a lake and walked to the beach! The weather was not great but it didnt stop us from rock climbing and takin pictures of the surfers! we headed back to where we parked and made beans and toast for dinner! we then headed out back along the GOR. First night stopover was Torquey, a small little town, very nice a pleasant! we pulled up into a look out point lookin out over the coast, was pretty special and made camp for the first night! we sorted out the van and cooked curry on the oven for tea! was a beaut of a meal! After gettin changed and drinkin beer we decided to head into the town and have a few more drinks in Pete's Place, a nice enough place was very quiet tho, then again it was a sunday night! we had a few pints and headed back to the vans where we lay on the floor star gazing (very gay i kno) drinkin beers, makin a fire
talkin about the usual bloke stuff, girls, beers and farts!

Day 2: We awoke at a reasonable time and made bacon and egg sarnies! we packed the van and headed towards the golf course as we were told we could see the kangaroos, sadle we didnt see any as we were not allowed on the course just to kangaroo spot! we then headed into town as daveo needed a new camera after gettin sand in his old
one and breaking it! not being able to find a camera we headed towards Lorne, on route we pased thorught the town of Anglesey and visited the Round the Twist Light House! Me Dave and Joel paid the 12bucks and went on a tour of it! was pretty good, the views from the top were awesome and plenty of pics were taken! We then drove for a while longer and went to bells beach! famous for surfing, again the weather was not that great as u will see in the pics but it didnt stop us climbing the rocks again and having seaweed fights! We arrived in Lorne around dinnertime ish and grabbed a bite to eat, i bought a new hoody as i left mine in a pub and dave bought a new camera! we then decoded tot ake a 10min drive to Erskine falls! This was a waterfall and a half! was truely spectacular!
xwe took the swimming gear and went in, well fook me drunk it was the coldest water i had ever been in! lim pretty sure my kidneys froze at one point, it took ure breathe away! words cant really describe the waterfall itself, ull just have to see the pics, even they will not do it justice! its was aweosme! after losing dave and jordan for an hour after they decided to go snake hunting we parke dup in a camp site for the night! it was nice to have electricty as we could now cook the melas we bought in the microwave!
we had a few more beers and headed to a spanish bar! tried some crazy beer and dave broke a glass! we met some aussie girls there who were at the same campsite and we headed back and drank more horrible goon wine! Dave beautifully serenaded some girl with his guitar skills, it was a beautifull moment! Jordan got naked and went skinny dipping and wore a girls dress! tosser haha!

Day 3: We headed up to a place called Kennet river! We parked up and went walking throught the woods, this place is knows for Koalas and we saw loads of them just sitting in the trees! not gonna lie, they dont do a lot, they are just big clumps of fur that sit in the trees not moving! they are cute though i'll give them that! we took loads of pictures as i sure u will see! we left the kennet river and headed to the Otway National rainforest where we did a tree top walk! was awesome walkin thought the canopys and lookin at the ground! some of the trees where over 100metres high! thats fookin massive!
lots more pics where taken! we then headed to a free camp site in the middle of no where, again it was a beautiful spot overlookin the sea and whatnot! Me and daveo decided to take a walk, we took some beers and where gone well over an hour! as dave was takin a picture of the sunset, i noticed somethin in the corner of my eye! i turned aroundcnad there were kangaroos just staring at us! we both got a little excited and tried to stalk them for a while! we go lots of pics and returned to camp happy chappys! Kolas and kangaroos int he wild in the same day, was pretty chuffed, u defo do not get that back in gee cross! we had a quiet night that night, made sausage butties and went to bed pretty early!

Day 4: We awoke and headed upto Port campbell, along the wa we stopped off at the 12 apostles, razorback and the thunder hole! all pretty awesome rock formation! it was a pretty dim day but it was just somethin we had to do as it is what makes the great ocean road so great! the rock formations were pretty impressive and again lots of pics were taken! some of the terrain around the place look very mars like and daveo went climbing thorugh little tunnels, i was 2 big to fit! we headed into apollo bay, we grabbed lunch and had a play on the playground for a while! it was raining so didnt stay to long! was a pretty boring town anyway! we drove into port campbell and stayed in another camp site! again it was nice to hook up to electrcity! we played footy for a while, drank beer! ate food and went to the pub at night! a small pub, not very busy but we just played pool all night so was not all bad! we headed back to camp and had a barbie on the riverside! was pretty lame, the burgers tasted like cardboard but i guess thats what camping is all about!

Day 5: We packed up the gear and headed home! sad times as the last few days had been awesome! was a long trip back but the sun was shining and we were lookin cool in sunglasses and chewing toothpicks! we arrived back at st kilda and dropped the vans off! we booked back into our original hostel as i had one free accomadation for winning a pool comp! yeah even out here im awesome at pool!

After a couple of days recovering from the Great Ocean Road trip we decided we would go on another road trip. This time to Ayers Rock! So we booked the tour at the hostel then we flew down to Adelaide a few days later. Adelaide is a really nice place. We're staying in a town just outside of Adelaide called Glenelg. It's a beautiful little town with an amazing beach. The water is crystal clear and really refreshing to go for a swim in. We have pretty much spent the last 4 days sunning ourselves on the beach. Highlights included seeing the odd fish swim through our legs, frisbee, Lots of lovely bikin clad ladies, Dave jumping off the jetty into the sea aswell as a few other things. While we have been here Adelaide has had a freak heatwave for this time of year meaning that right now we are in the hottest part of Australia!!! 39 degrees! thats hotter than your mum!! With any luck the sun will follow us to the desert where will be climbing ayers Rock! can't wait!!
