Just back from my day tour to the Barossa Wine Valley. It started at 8am & we were drinking at 9.30am, so it was an early start on the booze. We visited 4 winerys, including jacobs creek which is a fairly famous worldwide brand. We were told that Ireland has the biggest wine drinkers per head of population, nothing new there. We visted 2 big wineries & a small one before lunch.
Lunch was seved at 1pm & by this stage I was beginning to feel a little drunk, id say I had drank well over a bottle of wine by now. Lunch was Kangaroo ( which is really nice) & beef & sausages, aussie barby style, quite impressive.
After lunch we hit another small winery & visted the Barossa Valley Resevoir. Cool Day, got back at 5 bells, weather was roasting as well which was nice..
