Ko Tao: After the horrors of the sleeper. We arrived in chumpon at 5/5.30 in the morning. After a quick wash we were back on a truck bus and off to the port for a 3 hour boat to ko Tao. This was not a nice experience for either of us as we were both knackered after the last few days as well as the boat jumping up and down. So the sleeper train experience! Both hated it! No sleep! Scared of bag snatching stories so slept on both bags. Not great and got to ayutthaya at 5 in the morning. So did the only thing we know what to do... Have breakfast!! And we did so surrounded by early risers and monks in a near by food market. Rice and chicken for breakfast though! Fine but beginning to crave bacon sarnies! Haggled a tuk tuk down to see the old temples and palace in the centre of ayutthay...

Now after our first blog attempt, chances for completing a blog daily or even weekly have been slow so I am instead going to try wrap-up the last 3/4 weeks or so in one blog. First 2 days of Thailand then...BANGKOK!!!! Mental is one word to describe it!! As we got into the taxi the first day we genuinely were taken aback by the chaos on the roads, pavements, stalls an all of the travellers.
