Hi we had to catch a flight at 6.45am to get to hobart so we were very tired when we got here as you can imagine. We are doing a 6 day tour of tasmania we aren't really sure what to expect but it should be good fun. We started early the next day and met the people in our group, there are 6 of us in all so it's a nice small group. The first day it rained all day we got drenched, Rachel had to buy a waterproof coat and my coat wasn't waterproof anymore by the end of the day!! I think we did 3 walks that day but i lost count. Some of the towns we visited were really small and if it weren't for mining they wouldn't be there. Most days we spent walking to waterfalls or climbing up steep hills to reach a lookout. It was hard work but worth it for the beautiful scenery we saw. The group of people we were with were great, we even managed to play an april fools joke on our tour guide. He deserved it talked far too much!! Now we are back in hobart and we are flying back to melbourne tonight!! As it's good friday nothing in open it's scary!! anyway gotta go and pack!!
