so we have been in pucon for about a week now and we still havnt moved into our own hostel yet. all of us are having a little bit of a sense of humour failure about it seeing as we were living at ben's which is a small bungaownot really big enough for six people plus two of his friends and the the night we thought we would be moving into our hostel we were moved to the shop manangers apartment which is nice bt even tinier than bens house. so she has had to find somewhere else to stay. its wearing us down a little becasue we all want our own space without feeling like we are tiptoeing around someone elses house.

oh well. we are boating almost every day which is great fun. i did a river called called the Maichin the other day with some pr boaters which was ace. it was solid class 4 pool drop and was brilliant and soooo beautiful . i did get munched in a hole though. i paddled with a couple of other women who are really good. i enjoy paddling with women it is a completely different experience.

we have mostly been running the ducky run (inflatable kayaks), hopefully we can get some practice on the upper trancurra which is the test run for our safety kayaker qualification. we have to show that we know and can make all the lines, we have to talk about birds and trees and volcanoes in spanish and we have to roll with some one on our front deck and then with someone on our back deck. we are all a little nervous. oh well.

anyway im going to go now hopefully going boating soon. il get dave to write on this next.
