So we are now in Nicaragua, crossed the boarder (which was surprisingly expensive!) and had a day of many buses to get to our destination. You all know by now about the long and many chicken buses you have to take to get anywhere in Central America.....but hopefully this photo will give you an idea of how crazy they are.

The bus is speeding along in a hurry as usual.....and this guy jumped out the door and climbed up on the roof to put some luggage up there, not long before we spotted this, another guy jumped off while the bus was still at speed and skidding along the road as his feet could not keep up with the pace of the bus!

Evidently there is no time to wait for people, you have to get on or off as quick as possible whilst also sorting out any luggage you have. The driver waits for no one!!

From now on when Dave gets the bus to Banbury town centre he will have a massive grin on his face at how organised and sensible it all is !
