Onto day three of our crazy trip through the amazing variety of landscapes that Bolivia has to offer. Today we were up early and headed off in the snow to an area of geysers violently erupting out of the snow covered ground with the sun rising in the background, which of course was super amazing. So day 2 of our trip took us into the altiplano, which is the largest area of high plateau in the world after Tibet. After a few days of hanging around in Uyuni we finally got our chance to head off on our 3 day trip into the Southwest of Bolivia. We met our fellow trip conpanions, 2 Columbians and 2 Austrians. On the 30th December we jumped on a bus from Tupiza to our next stop Uyuni. This is the starting point for the worlds largest salt flats and also our gateway to Chile. We saved the worse, most uncomfortable bus journey for last. Only 6.5 hours long but the most bumpy, scary and dangerous.
