It was so cool to see little Alma again! I had missed her lots since we had parted company in Christchurch. And it was a semi reunion of the original Team, just missing Cat and Cloie. She is looking well, with her new stylish Brown hair, yes our little Alma is all grown up, and we were off to Tipperary. Yes I know the song! The next couple of days were awesome, really chilled out country days. “Tip” as they call it is really in the middle of nowhere and reminds me a lot of home, fields, fields and more fields! Honestly not the most exciting place ever, but Alma took me into Limerick on numerous occasions. We had the nicest Chinese meal, and went for Pizza too! She does look after me little Alma. Limerick is beautiful, real Ireland as I like to refer to it as. We also took a trip to the Cliffs of Moher on the western shores, absolutely gorgeous! Actually reminds me a lot of Cornwall. So glad I went away because I never appreciated scenes like this before, they are stunning. We had so much fun, catching up and joking around. She really may be the sweetest girl I know – get it? Lives in Tipperary… well I think I’m funny anyhow.
We met up with one of her mates, Edel, who is funny as and really cute! Alma decided to give her to me as a present, and now we are engaged! Heehee.
Mark also came down, a guy we had met on the Kiwi bus, and he drove me back to Dublin, where we chatted over many a Guinness.
It was so good to see Alma but alas my journey had come to an end, it was time to return home and start a life of solitude again…Actually thinking about it meeting up with everyone, Claire, Cat, Fin, Lally etc… will be awesome, and I can’t wait to see the boys. Can’t believe it has been a whole year, where has the time gone?
