Koh Phangan

I arranged to meet up with Arrabella, Tom and Josie and I was travelling with Will and Jesse and I heard that Coral Bungalows was the place to stay so I took the lead and we were really lucky to get the last room in that place. Then the others stayed next to us in Sandy Bungalows so we all got rooms together which was quite lucky as everyone in Thailand (well just about, headed to this Island for the Full Moon Party.

I had spoken to many people travelling & friends back home about the Pool Parties at Coral Bungalows 2 days before the Full Moon Party & told me it was awsome. They were not wrong, almost everyone came to our Pool for the party & it was carnage. The music was really loud & playing some really cool tunes so everyone was just getting hammered dancing on tables & jumping in the Pool. This was by far my best night so far whilst travelling. On that night I bumped into so many people I had met travelling & so many familiar faces from travelling around the SE Asia Loop. Especially Chris & Joe who I met tubing in Vang Vieng & we met there friends Virginia, Kris and the others at the Pool Party. As you can see from my pics the night was messy & it was a late one & yes I lost my Flip Flops. I wondered why down the street they were selling second hand flip flots for 50 Baht but I was not buying them back off them. Im sure they just collect them all & sell them the cheeky little rascals!!

It was also mine & Toms Birthday on the 9th December so we celebrated this in style at the pool party & the girls brought us two Birthday Cakes with candles so that was a nice touch. We had defo got the best place to stay on the Island with the Pool next to the West Shore & as you can see from the Photographs the Sunsets were the best.

The Full Moon Party was on the 12th so we had a few days to recover & relax on the Beach but on the First night we went to Had Rin Beach at Cactus bar where they do all the Fire Shows & they was a flaming Skipping Rope so I was the first to get involved & a few of the others joined in. It was great fun but I started to get clever & stay in there until it was so fast that I was running on the spot & I got tripped & hurt my ancle from it so I had to get it bandaged up for a few days. It was ok for the Full Moon Party though so happy days!!

The Full Moon Party was on had Rin Beach & this place was absolutely rammed, I mean about 20,000 people on this Beach Dancing to Banging Music having a really good time. They was about 12 of us hanging around together after the Pool Party so we decided to get Fully Painted up for the Party in Floresent Colours so Arrabella was the artist & gave me a Floresent Green Tash which went down well.

The Group split when on the Beach as they was too many people but I ended up sticking with Verginia, Kris & Josie & we were going for it all night & we had a few Buckets. I ended up with a chick from Perth in Oz & I had no money so she basically paid for my ferry over to her place in Ko Samui, paid for my Breakfast, Dinner then paid for my Ferry Back to Koh Phangan..... so the Tash went down well me thinks haha. I met a guy called Darren on the Ferry from Ireland & he bought me 3 Beers then we went to watch the Boro V Arsnal match & he bought me a few more so I done really well that day. However I didnt have my phone or anything on me & the others knew I had no money so they were a little worried as I didnt get back to Coral Bungalows till 8.30pm the next night. All good fun though.

Whilst we were there it was a great laugh as they was so many good people with plenty of banter & some nights we chilled on Sunset Beach with Happy Shakes. We went to this secluded Beach around the Island & went Coconut hunting which was really successful. I could go on for ages telling you stories but I am probably boring you now so I will log off now & update you on Koh Tao which was also fun & some good stories.
