Saturday night brought us to "The Longest Bar in the World," which is actually a collection of numerous bars in an area called The Altstadt, which encompasses about five times as many bars as The Gaslamp in San Diego has, if you can believe that. Went to a variety if places, including two of the oldest breweries in the area to dive bars, just like in Anerica, to a bar consisting of Germans playing classic rock. Amazing experience, including the street food, like Currywurst and pork sandwiches. Yum! All bars serve beers in glasses that are about two thirds of a pint and they only serve one beer, which is whatever Alt beer is the taverns favorite. Makes it easy to get beers as waiters just roam around with trays of ten and keep a tally of how many you have had on your coaster. Brilliant!
