Took a train to the historical and beautiful city of Aachen, Germany where we met with a good friend from my days in New York City, Carsta. She gave us a tour of the city where Charlemagne is buried, and took us to a wonderful old coffee for lunch. Absolutely stunningly beautiful day, 72 and not a cloud in the sky.
