What a difference a decade can make. This is the first place that we would visit again, now ten years, and be able to compare what it is like now as opposed to 2004. Samui has developed a lot since we were last there, most noticeably all the commercial development. Bigger's not better if you ask me and a lot of the charm I remember is gone and replaced by huge resorts and Starbucks. We still had a great time here visiting all our old favorites (the ones that still exist that is) and finding new ones.
