Day 89 -5th October - Ceduna to Whyalla
Poem by Olivia and Matilda .
Driving to Whyalla is all we do
We sound like animals in the zoo
Finally we arrive at the camp
The ground is wet, the grass is damp .
Matilda and I head to play
Mini golf for the rest of the day
Trying to get the ball in is really hard
Oh no we forgot the mini golf card
'Let's go it's getting cold'
'No! I'm playing like gold' .
A traveling sales man was not daft
He was the one that started Harris Scarf
Grace met an old man that wanted to tie us up
We said no Grace said "Yup"
We took him back to Mum and Dad
We thought they were going to be really mad .
Yummy sausage dinners
Don't have to pay,, yep we're the winners
No movie for tonight
Game of go fish and then snuggle in tight
GHD- We drive to Whyalla six hours. We arrive at 4:30 we get set up and the girls go to play minigolf while I go to do three loads of washing. I swap a book that Matilda took. It takes me three hours to do the washing and I met an old man, and he showed me an amazing magic trick. Then he lets himself into our van to show mum and dad! We have dinner and then go to bed
