On the 26th we set out from Adelaide towards Melbourne heading through the Grampians (mountain range) and eventualy along the great Ocean road. We did this on a small bus through the "Real Aussis Adventures" there was 14 of us and out tour guide Clancy who was a bit of a nutter. On the first day we got to the grampians after seeing the Macenzie falls and white kangeroos, which was the highlight of the day, we then pulled up at a hostel where we had a few beers and some kangaroo steak. We set out early the next morning and did a small hike up the pinnacles a mountain which had spectacular views, it was hard work but worth it. we then spent the rest of the day driving down to the great ocean road, stopping for lunch in a Ozzy bar (strange). we reached the great ocean road and saw sights such as the 12 apostles (all 8 of them), the london bridge and bay of islands. we then parked up for the second night at a small hostle/cottage along the shipwreck coast, after setting up and eating a few wraps and taccos we went to the local pub which was very expensive. After one of the coldest nights ever we set out again towards Melbourne, we saw the final parts of the great ocean road, walked through a rain forest which was really weird as if it was prehistoric or something. We also saw bells beach but there was little surf and the small town of torquey home of "ripcurl". We got into melbourne around 6.30 and booked into Cooey's Hostel. and thta was the end of the great ocean road.
